The drive out to Port Renfrew was gorgeous! It took about 3 hours, but the reward at the end (and on the way through the forest) was worth it. Heading out past Sooke tomorrow for a little picnic with the new B&B’s picnic basket. Of course we just have to try it out…make sure it holds enough cheese and wine. The JazzFest program is available now, and what a line-up of great performers! This is definitely something we’ll be checking out. I love being downtown; everything is right here!

This will be a spectacular event with so many with naval service backgrounds. Don’t miss it! Fisher House Bed and Breakfast is a great place to stay for the festivities and tours offered at CFB Esquimalt.
A very short walk from the Fisher House, you will find the Fishermans Wharf Park, with its unique combination of fresh seafood, picturesque houseboats, and a gorgeous view of Victoria’s Inner Harbour.
